Results of the Halal Inspection on Halal Certification Malaysia, Golden Churn canned butter
We are pleased to advise that we have received confirmation from Jakim that Golden Churn canned butter complies with the Malaysian Halal standard.
We will respond to Jakim to thank them for their letter and will request Jakim update their www.halal.Qoy.mv web site in regard to this approval status for Golden Churn canned butter.

Results of the Halal inspection on Halal Certification Malaysia
With all respect I refer to the above matter.
2. We would like to refer to the verification inspection done by Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM), Johor Religious Department and Sarawak Islamic Religious Department to Fonterra Co-Operative Group Limited and Ballantyne Foods Pty Ltd New Zealand on the 28 January until 03 February 2012.
3. Base on the result of the inspection, we would like to inform that the product Pure Creamery Butter - Golden Churn Butter is complied with Malaysian Halal Standard.
4. We also would like to convey appreciation for the cooperation given by your
organization and all the relevant parties in resolving this matter.

We would like to assure all of our Muslim consumers that all of our products are in full compliance of regulatory guidelines as laid down by respective Halal certifying bodies. Golden Churn Canned Butter is certified Halal by New Zealand Islamic Processed Food Management, a recognized Islamic authority in New Zealand. NZIPFM is duly accredited by Jakim to certify products that are produced in New Zealand.
The Ballantyne Company has always – and will always – highly respect our social responsibility to our Muslim Customers and Consumers worldwide. As such the Halal certification for our Golden Churn Canned Butter is a non-negotiable priority.
