Product Development
The Ballantyne research and development team of food technologists and sensory technicians develop new products to meet customers specific needs and requirements. We can also assist you in providing a cost effective alternative ingredient, filling the gap when a particular raw material is no longer available or consolidate several ingredients into one.
Our new product development laboratory is staffed and equipped to provide practical solutions in how best to achieve the desired results in customers finished products including snackfoods, bakery products, confectionary, dairy desserts and convenience foods.
We provide annual in-house applications training for our agents to get them more knowledgeable about our range of products and how they can be used in a range of food applications. Including a farm visit to view milking procedures, this two day program is an informative and fun way of really getting to know the Ballantyne team and product groups.
